For second year in a row, Health Alliance earns J.D. Power member-satisfaction honors

CHAMPAIGN, Ill.—With its long-time dedication to the provider-driven model to best serve Health Alliance members, it’s no surprise Health Alliance Medical Plans earned J.D. Power acclaim for “Highest Member Satisfaction among Commercial Health Plans in the Illinois/Indiana Region” in the J.D. Power 2018 Commercial Member Health Plan StudySM for the second year in a row.

“Over the last several years, we’ve made thoughtful changes to further integrate operational functions to assure Health Alliance and Carle remain nationally recognized for excellence in the eyes of our members and our patients,” said Health Alliance CEO John Snyder, who also serves as Carle executive vice president and system chief operating officer.

“Health Alliance earning J.D. Power acclaim yet again tells us we’re meeting and exceeding the expectations of our members in the communities we serve.”

The Member Health Plan Study, now in its 12th year, measures satisfaction among health plan members throughout the United States. Health Alliance achieved the highest score in three of six study factors.

  • Coverage and benefits
  • Provider choice
  • Claims processing
