Health Alliance app upgrade – meet ‘Hally’

New app upgrade from Health Alliance provides streamlined approach for many healthcare needs

CHAMPAIGN—Health Alliance, OSF MedAdvantage and Simplete members can download or begin updating their Health Alliance mobile app – as of February 5, 2020 – to a new version titled “Hally™.” The new app offers an intuitive and streamlined approach to many of the healthcare needs members address from their mobile device.

Available to all members, Hally provides access to their plan information. In fact, it’s named to remind users that Health Alliance is their ally in health. With that in mind, the app includes items like a physician directory, virtual visits, network and out-of-network coverage details and more.

Users who currently have the Your Health Alliance app and have automatic updates enabled, will see the app change to Hally upon their next regular app update. They can also download the app manually through Google Play or the Apple App Store. The same goes for new users, who are ready to further understand their health plan via their mobile device.

“One of our objectives at Health Alliance is to make sure we have the tools necessary for all of our members to best navigate the system,” said Health Alliance Chief Operating Officer Sinead Madigan. “In the digital era, apps like this upgraded version meet our members where they are and outline their options in a clear way.

“When members use the app, they will find quick access to health reminders, spending, recent claims information and much more.”

Some new features and enhancements associated with the Hally app include:

  • Redesigned provider search with clear details
  • New search for drugs covered under your plan
  • “Ask a Question” lets you interact with your plan support team

Additionally, you can register for an account to:

  • See what you’ll pay for key services like primary care, ER, and urgent care visits in- and out-of-network
  • Access Virtual Visits with a healthcare provider on your mobile device
  • Check what care, preventive care, and prescription drugs your benefits cover

Health Alliance is part of The Carle Foundation integrated system of healthcare services, which includes The Carle Foundation Hospital, Carle Physician Group, partnership in the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, two regional hospitals and 21 regional provider sites of care.
