Take a deep dive into Medicare and replace confusion with confidence

Champaign, Ill. – Understanding Medicare can be confusing but is important for people that are eligible for coverage to maintain healthy lives. Join Health Alliance as they embark on a five-part virtual deep dive into the depths of Medicare. The weekly educational program begins Thursday, September 2, 2021, and continues every Thursday through Sept. 30, at 1 p.m. CT / 11 a.m. PT.

The mini-series is open to anyone wanting a deeper understanding of the various parts of Medicare coverage or strategies to help determine what coverage is best for themselves or a family member. “Our Community Outreach team strives to provide education that allows a better understanding of the various aspects of Medicare,” Terra Mullins, director of Community Outreach at Health Alliance shares. “It is not easy to keep track of all the options. We felt providing this education series to dive into the information would be helpful.”

Medicare enrollees have an opportunity to review and accept their current plan’s upcoming changes – or opt to pick a new plan – every year during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). The five-part Medicare Deep-Dive mini-series offers the foundation needed for individuals to make informed plan choices and the virtual format means people can learn from the comfort and safety of their homes. The AEP begins October 15 and runs through December 7, 2021,
